SAI Dmu blank Seriizou 8-0: Aspen, Quakers win

SAI Dimapur blanked Seriizou-II FC Kohima 8-0, in the second day of the ongoing 15th Youth Soccer Championship (YSC), while Aspen and Quakers Kohima also won their respective matches played at local ground Kohima, Tuesday. The tournament is being organized by Classic Club, Kohima on the theme, “March on the front”. Led by Lovito, the first player to score a hat-trick in this year championship gave former champions-2005, SAI Dimapur a resounding victory over Seriizou. He scored his hat-trick (3rd, 5th and 6th goals) in the 22nd, 38th and 47th minutes. Chingwang also scored two goals (4th and 8th) for his team in the 37th and 59th minutes, while Kheshito (1st goal), Chubatemjen Imsong (2nd goal) and Benrithung (7th) also found their targets in the 5th, 16th and 53rd minutes respectively. Misery added to Seruzu –II FC woos as two players - Thejasetuo Sogotsu Khriesamhalie and Kevizelhou were awarded with yellow card for unsporting behaviour Aspen Club Kohima overcame a hard fought 1-0 victory over Teens Club Thizama in the last match of the day. The all important goal in the match was scored by Meyietuo in the second minute of the game. Earlier, in the first match, Quakers defeated Seven United Brothers Club Jalukie 2-0. Quakers found the net through the boots of Khrietseizo and Atoska in the 24th minute (1st goal) and 34th minute (2ndgoal) respectively, while Khrielhou was cautioned with yellow card in the 26th minute.
