State archery coach Atho-o laid to rest

: State archery coach, late N. Kethoselhou (Atho-o) was laid to rest at his residence at Half Nagarjan, Dimapur on Thursday. The mortal remains of late N. Kethoselhou son of Neiyalie Angami who hailed from Zadima village, Kohima was brought at Dimapur from Andhra Pradesh. It may be noted that the 30-year old coach, died in an ill-fated incident at the Vijayangar rail tracks, Andhra Pradesh on August 18, while returning along with the under-13 state archery team after the team won Silver medal (boys) and bronze medal (girls) in the 2nd Mini National Archery Championship (Under-13). It was also suspected that he was run over by a train. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio paid homage to the departed soul by laying down a wreath on the coffin of the mortal remains after his arrival at Dimapur airport from New Delhi. Sportspersons from Indira Gandhi Academy, Kohima, SAI Dimapur and state sports hostel along with coaches from the state also paid homage to the departed. All Nagaland Coaches Association; Department of Youth Resources and Sports; Zadima Village Council and Youth organization and Zadima union of Kohima and Dimapur also paid their homage to the departed soul. Born in 1979, late Atho-o had participated in various National and North-East levels and had also won medals in Archery.
