‘Kids for Fame 2009’ Counting of voting cards held in Dimapur, Kohima

Counting of voting cards for the first elimination round of the twelve finalists taking part in the second season of Pheto Music Association’s “Kids for Fame 2009”, was held simultaneously in Dimapur and Kohima on Thursday. In Dimapur, counting of voting cards commenced at 10 am at Aier’s Mansion, adjacent to IMC Hall, in the presence of representatives from the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU), the media and GB of River Belt colony, Yevuto Kiba, who acted as observers. Counting was completed 3.40pm after which the observers attested their signatures in the score-sheet, the results of which will be announced in the Spectacular Round to be held August 22 at IMC Hall, starting 4pm. In Kohima too, counting began at 10am in the office of Synergy Group Enterprise, Bayavü colony, and the observers/judges included chairman of Bayavü Colony, Pfudulhou Kense, Joshua from Youth Net and ANCSU general secretary Keneingulie. Finishing Touches - the event manager of this season’s ‘Kids for Fame’ informed that in the Spectacular Round, three out of the twelve finalists will be eliminated based mainly on the number of voting cards each contestant has garnered and also the decision of the three judges. The twelve contestants their respective numbers in the voting cards are: Seyievinuo Chüzho (contestant no. 1), Vibeizonuo Rupreo (No. 2), Azatoli K Rotokha (No. 3), Shawalo Kent (No. 4), Tughunakali Zhimomi (No. 5), R Areno Lotha (No. 6), Tumchobeni Tsopoe (No. 7), Ashüni Lirüna (N0. 8), Nancy Kent (No. 9), Nogheli Z Tuccu (No. 10), Henlen P Konyak (No. 11) and Jason Trevor Kire (No. 12). Ticket outlets for the spectacular round will be available at Crescendo, Notun Bosti, and Music Ground, Central Plaza. The winner of the second season of Kids for Fame will receive cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh in addition to one-year educational scholarship and music training at Hope Centre, Dimapur. The sponsors of this year’s Kids for Fame are State Bank of India (main branch Dimapur), Big Ones Ice-Cream, Feel Sweet, Vishal Mega Mart, Grub Partner-Purple Haze, Printing Press partner - Zumvu Printing Press Kohima, Style partner- Glamazon Salon, Media partner-The Morung Express.
