Apex SC, Burma Camp win in YSC

Apex Sporting Club Kohima, Burma Camp United Dimapur and Addax Club won their respective matches to enter into the pre-quarterfinals in the ongoing 15th Youth Soccer Championship (YSC), played at local ground, Kohima Friday. The championship is being organized by Classic Club, Kohima on the theme, “March on the front”. In the first match, Apex Sporting Club Kohima blanked Halcyon Club Kohima 3-0. Neiphreizolie netted the fastest goal of the tournament. He found the mark in the 50 second of the match. The other two goals of the match were scored by Atuolie in the 2nd and 3rd goal in the 48th and 51st minutes respectively. Burma Camp United Dimapur drubbed Elevate Club Kidima 5-1 in the second match. The goals scorer for Burma Camp United were William two goals (3rd and 5th) in 26th and 44th minutes and one goal each from Mangkai (1st) in 16th minute, I. Yanger (2nd) in 25th minute and Imna (4th) in 29th minute. The face saver for Elevate Club was scored by Vizayeto in the 57th minute, while Keviwhel was cautioned by the referee in the 55th minute. In the last match of the day, Addax Club Kohima overcame edged New Reserve Youth Organization (NRYO) 7-6 vie sudden death, after both teams were locked goalless in the stipulated time. Addax found the mark through Dzisekuolie, Keviphrietuo, Keduoneizo, Kezhaletuo, Kikiruseto, Kevipro and Pekruneito, while NRYO found the net from the boots of Yanbothung, Sorenthung, Yevito, Yilobemo, Hoinato and Blisto.
