Chuba calls for unity and peace

MLA 53 A/C Tuensang Sadar 1, P. Chuba Chang on Saturday called upon the people to preserve peace and unity in the society for developmental activities. P. Chuba asserted ‘development always depends on peace’ and peace and unity was the only way for solution of humanity in the society. He said this while inaugurating the new building of community hall at Ngangpong village in Tuensang some 10 km away from the Tuensang. Chuba Chang lauded the Commandant 3rd NAP Tuensang for assisting the villagers in construction of village community hall and villagers for their co-operation. He also urged the council to unit together for the betterment of Ngangpong village and Tuensang district in general. Chuba Chang, who is also a senior congress legislator appealed to villagers to utilize the community hall in a proper way for the common benefit of the people and assured all help and developmental activities in the areas in future. Earlier, chief guest was accorded warm welcome by the VGs of Ngangpong village. The inauguration programme was chaired by H.Wongto executive chairman, Mutten Thangjam. Programme was started with an invocation prayer by C. Sipong Pastor, while welcome address was delivered by B. Yanchu 2nd GB and special number was presented by H. Sanchu and com. Commandant 3RD Bn NAP, T. Namang council chairman and T. Chingmak DB Tuensang also spoke on the occasion. T. Chusang VCM proposed vote of thanks while benediction was proposed by S. Yansomong GB. The programme was attended by District Congress Committee I, president Chiten sangtam, ACCC office bearers, Distict Youth Congress office bearers and District Mahila office bearers besides various officials and invitees.
