Parliamentary secretary for industries and commerce Dr. K C Nihoshe Sunday said young people of Nagaland were very talented in music and had a good potential for realizing it as an industry for state’s economic growth.
Pointing out that young people could play a vital role towards the progress and development of the state, Dr. Nihoshe urged the youth to avail various opportunities granted by the state government.
He was addressing Sumi youth at Chekiye village, Dimapur where he released the first regional praise and worship music album titled ‘Oh! Sumiqo:kikimiye - kuqhakulu Sumi yeghiqha kumtsulo’ at Chekiye Baptist Church. Youth Director of Chekiye, Charlie said the album ‘boisterously’ claimed as the first regional praise and worship album in Nagaland was a powerful and lively Sumi gospel album. He also said the very purpose of the album was to let people understand about singularity of ‘one God, one love’.
The program was chaired by Women leader of Chekiye Baptist Church Hokali, while Pastor Toluho, Chekiye village Baptist Church delivered a short message.
