Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Maongwati Aier on Sunday, released a gospel hymn in Nagamese published by Nagamese Baptist Churches Association at Nagamese Baptist Church, Burma Camp, Dimapur. Representatives from various churches and ministry also attended the programme. It may be noted that NBCA has a total of 17 churches under its wing. Aier, who was also the main speaker at the service, spoke on how to bring about a revival in Dimapur. Enlightening the congregation about the history of revival, he spoke on how a revival would affect the Naga way of life. The DC also took excerpts of many Biblical figures such as Paul, Moses, Peter and urged the congregation to follow the 10 commandants. “Nagas need revival fire and should ask for it” he said. Earlier the service was lead by treasurer, NBCA, Akang Pongen while the welcome speech was delivered by executive secretary, NBCA, Rev R Meren. The invocation was done by Director, OCM, Dr. T Aonok while special numbers were presented by the youths of the church and Ajungla Lemtor.
