Meditation, de-addiction programme for CRPF personnel

A three-day meditation and de-addiction programme for officers and personnel of 150 battalion of CRPF, Mokokchung was concluded on August 24 at battalion headquarter. The programme was conducted by Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Iswariya Vishwa Vidyalay, Kohima to encourage officers and personnel to stay away from vices such as chewing pan, masala, smoking, alcohol which causeed irreparable damage to health. The three-day rigorous campaign on the theme was conducted by Brahma Kumaris Sister Rupa, Brahma Kuamri Sister Sandhiya and Chandra Kumar. DC Mokokchung C.M. Tsanglao, who was the chief guest at the closing function expressed hope that such programme on de-addiction will go a long way in discouraging the officers and personnel from chewing pan, smoking and alcohol which were injurious to health.
