General conference of Nagaland Secretariat Services Association (NSSA) was held at the Secretariat Conference Hall on August 25 with Chief Secretary, Lalthara as chief guest.
Addressing the function, Lalthara said that the Secretariat as the office of the state and the head of all government organizations, secretariat employees truly occupied a respectable job.
He urged all the employees to dedicate themselves in their respective assignments and to train themselves so that the functioning of the secretariat service would be not hampered while delivering service to the people.
Lalthara also said that promotion and status may be a concern for a government employee, but being a capable person and good progress of work are much more important and urged them to bring constructive ideas to the government for the people in general.
The programme was chaired by president, Nagaland Secretariat Services Association, H. Lungalang and invocation prayer was pronounced by Pastor, Khedi Baptist Church, Kohima, Kelhousehu Belho.
