22 Naga youths awarded Blackbelt dan

Out of the 30 participants who took part in the Black Belt promotion test conducted at Kohima on Sunday, 22 participants received Black Belt dan in various categories which was conducted under the directives of Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI), the Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA). Speaking to this correspondent, Lhouliebeio Khezhie, general secretary, NTA said that three candidates cleared the test in 3rd dan category, while in 2nd dan category nine candidates cleared the test and ten candidates cleared 1st dan test. The test was conducted under the supervision of Theja Keretsu , 3rd Dan Black belt as examiner, Heoshe Yepthomi , 3rd Dan Black belt as TFI representative and Pele Khezhie NTA controller as TFI observer.. Meanwhile NTA thanked the TFI for giving the opportunity to NTA to conduct the test.
