UBCA meet DIMAPUR: United Baptist Churches Association (UBCA) has convened a meeting on August 12, 9 am at UBC Balijan near LRC Dimapur. All the youth directors and president have been requested to attend the meeting. Peren DPDB meet deferred DIMAPUR: DPDB Peren meet has been postponed due to an official engagement of the board chairman. The new date would be intimated later on. ANCSU meet KOHIMA: The 14th biennial general conference of All Nagaland College Students Union (ANCSU) will be held from August 26 to 29 at Saku Mission college (New campus) Dimapur on the theme ‘Education, a tool for self reliance’, with Imkong L Imchen, minister for Home as chief guest and Lalthara, chief secretary , guest of honour at valedictory function and Prof . K. Kannan vice chancellor, NU as special guest. Meanwhile the union convened a presidential meeting in regard to the forth coming general conference on August 11 am 11.00 am NSF conference hall. All unit presidents and general secretaries have been requested to attend the meeting. DSSU meet DIMAPUR: Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) has convened a presidential meet on August 12 from 2 pm at the union banker’s residence, Notun Bosti. All presidents and representatives of schools and colleges of the union have been requested to attend the meeting. Rengma community meet DIMAPUR: An emergency meeting of Rengma community residing at Purana Bazar jurisdiction has been convened on August 15 at 4 pm at the residence of Khonbi Jemu, GB Purana Bazar, opposite Pentecostal Church Purana Bazar, Dimapur. All house holds/plot owners and all responsible have been requested to attend the meeting. Peren VDBs exhibition, sale DIMAPUR: Peren district VDBS exhibition cum sale has been organized on August 15 with participants from VDBs Tening block, Peren block and Jalukie block. The exhibited materials would be mostly Agri-products and purely organic. All Peren district officers, staff, contractors, businessmen, NGOs and town dealers have been requested to visit the exhibition. SABAK revival hour KOHIMA: Sumi Aphuyemi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SABAK) Revival hour will be held from September 18 to 20 at Kohima local ground on the theme ‘The nations will see your righteousness’. The morning service would start from 9 am and evening service from 3 pm. The speakers will be Rev Dr. Hevukhu Achumi, director Sumi Baptist Convention, Dimapur and Rev. Lanu Longchar, director Lay Evangelical Fellowship Mokokchung.
