Seminar on leadership, mass media held in Loyola School

A one day seminar on leadership cum -mass media was organized for Peace Channel Club of St. Paul School, Phesama and Peace Channel Club Loyola School, Jakhama by Peace Channel, Kohima on August 8 at Loyola School auditorium, Jakhama. The seminar was attended by 77 students from St. Paul and Loyola School respectively. The seminar started with a note of welcome address by Fr. Joe, Principal of Loyola School, Jakhama. He welcomed all the Coordinators and animators of Peace Channel, Kohima District for taking the initiative and setting up seminar at its School premises and wished all students a happy learning. In the first session on mass media, Fr.George, Principal of St. Mary School, Kohima conducted the session as the Resource person. He said that media can either be used or misused for building or demolition and also projects the positive as well as negative things. The second session on “Leadership was conducted by Robert Solo, president of Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement as resource person. He advised the students to be dedicated, determined, a good listener and a good conversationalist in order to become an effective leader. The seminar concluded with a time of question hour and evaluation hour in which various students shared their experiences.
