A career guidance program was conducted for Class XI & XII students of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Dimapur on October 3. Altogether 60 students attended the program which was animated by Raj Kr. Verma NCS, deputy team leader, NEPED and joint secretary, government of Nagaland, Col. Rakesh Nair, director, Army Recruiting Centre, Rangapahar, Dr. Stephen Kamson MBBS, IRMS (Sr. Divl. Medical Officer, N.F. Railway), H. David, LLB (Advocate) and Amit Kumar Jain BE (Engineer).
It may be mentioned that this unit of Don Bosco Alumni also conducted a similar program for the students of Kilenkaba Memorial College. Over 250 collegiate attended the program animated by Renchamo Kikon IPS (Commandant, 13 IR Bn), Dr. Tali Longkumer MD, DM (Director, Zion Hospital, Dimapur), Rajeev Dong (Rtd. Wing Commander IAF, presently deputy director Rajya Sainik Board), Ajay Setty (Director, NIIT, Dimapur), Amit Kr. Jain BE (Engineer), Kedimenla Imchen (Lecturer, KMC) and Daiho Rajina (Branch Head, Birla Sunlife, Dimapur). The students were enlightened on various areas of careers like approach to choosing careers in civil services, medical sciences, engineering services, defence services, legal services, entrepreneurships, banking and others services.
The program was hosted as part of past pupils of all Don Bosco under the banner of Don Bosco Alumni Dimapur unit, bonded by the common motto to “Know, Love, Help One Another and Keep United”.
