DIMAPUR: Three day training on power machineries for selected farmers from all districts of Nagaland will be held on October 8 to October 10 at SDO (store) Dimapur Agriculture, Old LRC colony with Dr. Supong Keitzar, Director of Agriculture as chief guest. N. Jacob Yanthan, SDO (store) has informed all districts DAO’s and Sub divisional officers to depute selected farmers for the training. DIMAPUR: Meeting of Chang College Students’ Union Kohima has been convened on October 10 at the residence of its treasure at 1 pm. Union informed that handing and taking of the files will also be done in the meeting.
NPF youth wing
DIMAPUR: Nagaland People’s Front (NPF) youth wing Dimapur division has convened a meeting on October 7 at 10 am at party office, near Sewak Gate-I, Midland Dimapur with central youth wing members in charge of the division. Penathung Kithan, general secretary (Media) NPF youth wing Dimapur has requested all office bearers, five A/Cs presidents and general secretaries to attend the meeting.
DIMAPUR: Third and final SIT verification of teachers under DIS Bhandari for transferred cases from 2002 to 2009, ad hoc, temporary, fixed and those who failed to appear earlier may appear with relevant document and particulars on October 6 and 7 at the office of SIT, Kohima.

DIMAPUR: The Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) will hold its 35th General Conference from October 16 and 17 at Town Hall Dimapur on the theme ‘True knowledge is the asset of the society’ (Kuchuo Kighiti no agho-aho ago mheghi. Minister for roads and bridges G kaito, Aye and Shetoyi Sumi MLA and chairman NHHDC Nagaland will be the chief guest for the inaugural and Cultural regale respectively. The main speaker for the conference will be Kitoho S Rotokha, general sec Sumi Hoho’. The DSSU has requested all schools and colleges to allow Sumi students to participate in the various competitions in the conference and all Sumi students from class 5 and above along with all elders, former senior executives and well wishers to attend the conference.
