Seminar on Human Trafficking DIMAPUR: The Impulse NGO Network Shillong in collaboration with Nagaland Post would be organizing a two day seminar for encouraging greater print media publication of Human Trafficking issues and building capacity of journalists on issues relating to Human Trafficking at Hotel Saramati on October 5 and 6 at 11am. Buranamsang without school building DIMAPUR: Government High School Buranamsang the only educational institute which covered eight villages is running without proper school building and basic facilities. Highlighting the plight faced by the students of Government High School Buranamsang, the village council council chairman, Bonghok Phom stated that schools do not have science and maths teacher since 2006. It also said SIT had held up services of four graduates’ teacher since June 2006 and as a result, four graduate teachers were not discharging their duties. The council also stated that despite frequent appeal to higher authority no action had been initiated by the authority in charge. In this regard, the village council has urged the authority to look into the grievances at the earliest.
