ASBPF conference Dimapur: All Sumi Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship conference would be held from October 9 to October 11 at Thahekhu Baptist Church. DLST lauds Dimapur: Dimapur Lirmen Senso Telongjem (DLST)has felicitated Yangertoshi Longkumer of Lirem Village for being selected to the post of Asst. Commandant (CPF) through UPSC examination. The union in a press release has lauded him for bringing laurels to the village and has wished him success in the coming years. Submission of AMCC and DMCC Dimapur: District Mahila Congress has requested the AMCC under DMCC Tuensang to submit AMCC and DMCC executive members before October 15 at DCC office Tuensang. Spiritual re-awakening DIMAPUR: A spiritual re-awakening for Ao community within Dimapur area has been convened on October 8 at DABA town fellowship, Khermahal with Reverend Imdangmeren as speaker. KBE Diphupar (B) sales day DIMAPUR: Kyong Baptist Ekhumkho Diphupar (B) will be organizing a sales day on October 9 at the premises of 4th Mile Friday Bazar, Dimapur in aid of church building extension. KBE Diphupar (B) secretary informed that Kyong (Lotha) traditional attires and vegetables would be available at the sales day. Ezon Montsu meeting DIMAPUR: General meeting of Ezon Montsu has been convened on November 27 at 10am at Yanthamo village. Office bearers of the 9 Brothers (clan) and general public of Ezon Montsu have been requested to attend the meeting. RWDA fellowship DIMAPUR: Rotomi Welfare Dimapur Area (RWDA) has convened a fellowship prayer programme on October 10, from 6 am to 9 am at Diphupar Sumi Baptist Church, 4th mile. Hutovi L Shohe, general secretary RWDA has requested all to attend the prayer programme. NACF co-ordination meet DIMAPUR: Niuland Area Citizen’s Forum (NACF) has convened a co-ordination meeting on October 10, 10 am at Niuland Town. Isak Zhimomi, chairman NACF has requested all the responsible organizations, GBs, intellectuals and public leaders to attend the meeting. DYC executive meet DIMAPUR: An executive meeting of District Youth Congress (DYC), Wokha has been convened on October 8, 10 am at the office chamber of DCC Wokha. Z. Mhondamo Kikon, president DYC Wokha has requested all the office bearers of DYC Wokha, presidents and general secretaries of ACCCs under Wokha district to attend the meeting. Japfu Live from October 8 KOHIMA: With the Northeast Youth festival scheduled at Kohima from October 8 to 10, Hotel Japfu, Kohima, a subsidiary of Nagaland Hotels Limited would be organizing “Japfu Live” starting from 6 pm to 8 pm from October 8 to 10 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. Top local artists from Nagaland will be performing with free entry. KBSK sliver anniversary KOHIMA: Khedi Baptist School Kohima (KBSK) will celebrate its sliver anniversary on October 10 at 10.30 am at KVC Hall with Dr. Shiirhozelie Liezietsu, minister for Urban Development and Higher Education as chief guest. SZSU grateful KOHIMA: Sechu Zubza Students Union (SZSU) expressed gratitude to the commandant 78th Battalion CRPF (HG) Sechu (Zubza) for providing assistance to the students union in carrying out their educational tour to tourism village, Tuophema and also several places for the students studying in Class 5 . JNV Chukitong past-pupil meet DIMAPUR: All the ex-pupils of 1996, 1997 and 1998 batches of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Chukitong have been informed to attend the meeting on October 11, 3.30 pm at the residence of Pipenthung Kikon, Etsuchukha Colony to discuss for a get-together. HCHSS class of 1992 felicitates Dimapur: The class of 1992 Holy Cross Higher Secondary School has congratulated Deep Kumar and his faith in action team for winning the All India Sony Television ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Aur Bhi Kuch Karega’. The class of 1992 in a release has wished them more success in the days to come to bring more laurels to the state. DBAS assembly held DIMAPUR: Annual gathering –cum- general assembly of Don Bosco Alumni Sechu Zubza was held at the school premises on September 26 with Francis Pelevituo Solo, commissioner and secretary higher secondary and technical education who is also the president of Dimapur provincial federation council Don Bosco Alumni. At the session, new members for the tenure of 2009-12 were also elected with Kedoroko Casavi as president, Vitovika as general secretary. SGSA emergency meet DIMAPUR: Sumi Games and Sports Association Nagaland has convened an emergency meeting on October 9 at the residence of its president, Vikaho Zhimo, TCM South Point East Zunheboto. The meeting would discuss forthcoming Sumi Hoho Trophy (tournament) scheduled to be held at Niuland, Dimapur and other issues. All Area Sports Associations under Zunheboto district, president/secretary/representatives have been requested to attend the meeting. BSNL Road Show in Peren Dimapur: A road show for the BSNL Nagaland Telecom at Peren town will be held on October 8 from 10 am till 3 pm at committee market complex, Peren. The residents of Peren town and surroundings have been advised to avail the opportunity for new landline, WLL, PCO’s GSM (mobile) post and pre-paid connections by submitting latest passport size colour photo, Pan card or driving license or bank account pass book issued by central or state government departments for photo identity, address proof such as electricity bill or telephone bill or ration card or address and photo identity issued by head GB or chairman of village council.
