BYO social work KOHIMA: The Bayavü Youth Organization will be organizing a mass a social work in the colony on October 10 at 7 am. All colony members have been informed to participate in the social work. Phom Students Union Kohima Kohima: Phom Students Union Kohima (PSUK) will hold its 19th freshers meet on October 10 at 10.30 am at Ura Academy hall with parliamentary secretary Rural Development and REPA S. Pangnyu Phom, as chief guest. Southern Angami Youth Organization KOHIMA: Southern Angami Youth Organization will hold an executive meeting on October 10 at 10 am at SAPO Hall Jakhama. All the constituent unit presidents and secretaries have been informed to attend the meeting. Western Sumi Students Union DIMAPUR: Meeting of Western Sumi Students Union has been convened on October 7 at its office at Thahekhu village at 11 am. All executive member and advisors have been informed to attend the meeting. Alder College annual day Kohima: Alder College Kohima will hold its 18th annual day 2009 on October 10 at 10 am at Dr. Setu Memorial Hall with Viketol Sakhrie, commissioner and secretary Rural Development as chief guest. National seminar on tribal societies DIMAPUR: National seminar on tribal societies and challenges of modernization in North-East India will be held on October 9 and 10 at St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama. The seminar is organised by Department of Sociology with Prof. K. Kannan, Vice-Chancellor, Nagaland University, Kohima as chief guest. National Students’ Union of India DIMAPUR: Emergency meeting of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland State has been convened on October 8 at its Office Congress Bhavan Kohima at 10:30am. All state executive as well as district Presidents have been informed to attend the meeting. Further, all state and district executive have been informed to submit birth certificate or others for age proof. NPF 42 A/C meet DIMAPUR: Meeting of NPF party of 42 A/C Wakching has been convened on October 9 at 11a.m in Naginimora town hall. The meeting will be addressed by Minister Forest & Excise M.C. Konyak, Working President NPF Apong Pongener, Ex-MLA Atovi and Mon District NPF in-charge; President NPF Mon District Tingthok Konyak, and, Advisor NPF for Mon District Gopang Konyak. All party unit leaders and party workers of the Constituency have been informed to attend the meeting. Wokha BRGF workers meeting DIMAPUR: Village level BRGF Workers of Wokha district have convened a meeting on October 9 at Hornbill Hotel Wokha at 10am. All BRGF workers have been requested to attend the meeting. DYC Peren meeting DIMAPUR: District Youth Congress (DYC) Peren district has convened a meeting to be followed with registration/recruitment drive on October 8 at Peren Town Hall at 10am. All area youth Congress members of Peren assembly constituency and Tening assembly constituency have been requested to attend the meeting. ANFSA PHED Dimapur meeting DIMAPUR: All Nagaland Field Staff Association PHED Dimapur unit has convened a meeting on October 10 at Maintenance SDO office complex at 9 am. All members have been requested to attend the meeting and submit appointment order to office bearers. Special handloom expo in Mon DIMAPUR: Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. Dimapur will be organizing a Special Handloom Expo, in Mon town from October 19 to 28. The expo is sponsored by office of the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, New Delhi. Interested societies, Self Help Group, individual participants within and outside state have been informed to apply for participation to the managing director N. Hushili Sema on or before October 15 during office hour. Research workers under medical profession KOHIMA: The Medical Council of India (MCI) Dwarka, New Delhi is inviting interested research workers under medical profession for Dr. B.C. Roy, National Award fund in 1962 to perpetuate his memory. The fund is registered under societies registration Act,1860. Necessary forms can be collected from the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima, Nagaland on any working days. Salt Christian College freshers cum social DIMAPUR: The 19th Freshers Day cum parting social of Salt Christian College Dimapur will held on October 9 at Town Hall Dimapur from 9.30 am. General Secretary of Students’ Union of Salt Christian College, Mughato Kibs, has informed all the students to attend the function without fail. Dimapur Pangti Ekhung DIMAPUR: The general meeting of Dimapur Pangti Ekhung will be held on October 10 at Dimapur Lotha Hoho Ki (near DC Court Junction) from 10 am. All the members have been requested to attend the meeting. Dimapur Area NCRC service DIMAPUR: The monthly youth combine service will be held on October 10 at CRC Residency colony (Central Christian Revival Church) at 3.30 pm with Director of Harvest Ministry, Rev Kilang Jamir as the speaker. All the youth of NCRC churches have been requested to come and attend the service. CRC concert postponed KOHIMA: CRC Dzüvürü Youth gospel concert has been postponed to March 5,2010 due to unavoidable reasons. 38 A/C NCP Wokha meeting DIMAPUR: Executive meeting of 38 A/C NCP Wokha has been convened on October 10 at the residential office Wokha of minister for Agri, Dr Chumben Murry at 10 am. All office bearers and village units president and general secretary have been requested to attend the meeting. Ahuna 2009 fest DIMAPUR: Satoi Range Public Union Dimapur (SRPUD) will be celebrating Ahuna festival 2009 on November 14 at the residence of Tohuvi Aye, Thilixu Block IV Dimapur. Er H. Kahuto Sumi police project engineer, Chumukedima Division will be the chief guest while Shikuto yeptho GB will speak on importance of Ahuna festival. All Satoi Range people living in and around Dimapur have been invited to attend the festival celebration. NPF Mokokchung meet DIMAPUR: Annual general meeting of NPF Mokokchung Division has been convened on October 20. Minister for Home Imkong L. Imchen will deliver the keynote address. All central office bearers and central executive council members from Mokokchung, divisional office bearers, frontal functionaries, divisional executive members, A/C office bearers including frontal office bearers and president along with one general secretary from all units have been requested to attend the meeting.
