SCC teachers, students clarify

Teachers’ Council and Student union of Sao Chang college has clarified that allegation and complain letter containing 18 points on September 5 sent to the secretary, department of higher and technical by ENSF was “baseless and imaginary”. A joint release by Teacher Council Sao Chang College Tuensang president Dr. A. Paul, secretary Neken Jamir and Sao Chang College Students Union Tuensang general secretary N. Ngakusomba said the letters wassigned by seven individuals in the name of guardians of students. Stating that 18 points “never happened”, it said was “derogatory” to the image of the teachers, ENSF and the college. The signatories stated that with a positive intention to reason with signatories of the complaint letter, council and students union made an in-depth inquiry to find out those “so called” guardians. The release said that after the inquiry, there was no such “guardians” which existed by the names of the signatories and all names were “fictitious”. Stating that the act was done with “malicious and ill will” intention, the signatories declared the letter as “null and void” and not holding any merit.
