NPSC aspirants submit 10-point memorandum

Aspirants of Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC), under the banner of “Transparency Advocacy Group” (TAG), Monday submitted a representation to NPSC secretary and threatened to initiate PIL if the commission failed to communicate within fifteen days. A 10-point representation submitted to NPSC, has demanded for reevaluation of all answer scripts, disclosure of cut off marks officially after every exams, revelation of the marks scored by both successful or unsuccessful candidates. It has demanded that correction fluid be allowed with prior approval of the invigilator. The representation has also demanded using of carbon copy answer scripts in the line of JEE examinations and spelling out the errors committed in the evaluation process. Furthermore, it demanded the outsourcing of the functioning of NPSC examinations procedures, list out/made public the company NPSC engaged which made the mistake, rectify the wrong answer as there are still many anomalies detected and also penalty be imposed to the erring officials responsible for the “mess”. The NPSC aspirants, earlier during the day, held a marathon consultative meeting at the NSF Conference Hall and discussed at length the “NPSC fiasco”.
