ANSTA Kohima, Longleng Zunheboto lists grievances

All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) has appealed to the department to take up the case of regularization of teachers. A press note issued by ANSTA treasurer Ponchulo Wanth stated that all government employees who had completed more than three years of continuous service on contract/ adhoc against sanctioned post should be eligible for regularization subject. However, the department had not initiated any further action toward the process of regularization after the compilation work was done. Further, the association stated that ROP’99 should be implemented on group of employees at par with employees of other departments as another ROP (the 6th ROP) was the offing before the 5th ROP was granted to them. ANSTA Longleng: Ad-hoc Teachers under DIS Longleng have not received extension order or their salaries for the last three months. A press release addressed to the director of school education Kohima issued by B Longting Phom president ANSTA Longleng unit stated that Ad-hoc teachers refused to perform their duties unless they get their extension order. The release requested the department of School education to verify the matter and release the extension orders at the earliest. ANSTA Zunheboto: All Nagaland School Teachers Association, Zunheboto (ANSTA) has appealed chief minister Nephiu Rio to revoke the decision to shift the DIET centre from Aghunato to Zunheboto. ANSTA seasonal president Ghutoshe V. Katty in letter addressed to the chief minister has appealed the government to take necessary action.
