: Former Kilo Kilonser FGN, Biseto Medom Keyho who passed away at 84 on September 20 was laid to rest on Monday.
A brief funeral service was held at the family home in 7th Mile Chumukedima attended by family, friends, fellow national workers, officials, representatives of various public organizations and well wishers.
“General” Thinoselie Medom Keyho, younger brother of late Biseto addressed the service on behalf of family members.
Chief minister Neiphiu Rio, who was on official visit abroad sent a condolence message which was read out by Abeio Kire. Rio in his message stated that he was deeply pained and shocked over the demise of Biseto, and that his services for the people would be etched forever in Naga history. Rio further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members.
Further condolence speeches were given by Angami Public Organization, Chakhro Public Organization, Lotha region NNC, Angami regional council NNC, Dapfhutsumia council, URA village, Chakhesang Public Organization, Northern Angami Public Organization, Chedema village council, Chedema Kuda Krotho, Cherudiki Public Organization Kohima, Cherudiki Union Chakhro Area, NNC general secretary Vizosielhou Nagi and former fellow national workers. The body was laid to rest after CRC mission director North East, reverend Neivotso Neikha performed the last rites.
