Meeting of DCF in Holy Cross Hall Dimapur: All members of the Dimapur Christian Forum(DCF) including chairman and members of the Dimapur Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship, are requested to attend an emergency meeting in the Holy Cross Hall Saturday, October 24 at 3 p.m. State Academy Hall to remain closed DIMAPUR: Additional director, art and culture department, Allem Longkumer has informed that the State Academy Hall of Music and Dance, P.R. Hill, Kohima would remain closed with effect from November 1 till December 15 due to major renovation works and reservation of the Hall would not be entertained till the completion of work. Traffic awareness campaign in Wokha DIMAPUR: Wokha District Autorickshaw Union (WDAU) will be organizing a traffic awareness campaign at LTC Hall Wokha on November 14 at 10 am to impart basic safety of traffic rules. Union has requested all its members, well wishers and public of Wokha Town all to attend the program. NPF general convention DIMAPUR: NPF president Dr. Shurhozelie has convened traditional CEC meeting on November 27 followed by general convention on November 28 at NPF central office Kohima at 3 pm. The meeting would take up important party matters including amendment of party constitution. Timber Traders’ Welfare Union DIMAPUR: Timber Traders’ Welfare Union executive meeting will be held on October 24 at 9 am in the office of TTWU Purana Bazar. Hindi reorientation training DIMAPUR: DEO Kohima Zaveyi Nyekha has informed all Higher Secondary/High Schools of both government and private Hindi teachers to attend the Hindi reorientation training at Dimapur Central Institute of Hindi, Dimapur which will commence on October 26 till November 13. NPBCA meet deferred DIMAPUR: Executive council meeting of Nagaland Police Baptist Church Association (NPBCA), Chumukedima has been postponed to November 11 – 12 at 5 pm at NPBCA Mission Centre. Dr. N. Mong Lotha, executive secretary NPBCA Chumukedima informed that meet was deferred due to unavoidable circumstances and requested all members to co-operate with the office. NSGEWA meet DIMAPUR: General meeting of All Nagaland Senior Government Employees Welfare Association (NSGEWA) has been convened on October 26 at 2 p .m in the conference hall of School Education Directorate. The meeting would deliberate on the ongoing high court case relating to 2009 retirement bill and adopt strategies. Renewal of trade license in Dimapur DIMAPUR: With a view to avoid congestion in the month of December, the Dimapur Municipal Council will be starting trade licence renewal for the year 2010 from November 2. All traders, businessmen of Dimapur town have been informed to start their respective trade license renewal. Underdeveloped areas meet Dimapur: Meeting for underdeveloped area has been convened on October 27 at 1 pm at Additional chief Secretary and Developmental Commissioner’s conference hall at Kohima. All administrative heads and heads of departments have been informed to attend the meeting. Ex-Gorkha Students’ Union DIMAPUR: Ex-Gorkha Students’ Union (EGSU), Dimapur has convened a meeting on October 25 at 1 pm at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur. SRPUD to celebrate Ahuna DIMAPUR: Satoi Range Public Union Dimapur (SRPUD) will be celebrating Ahuna festival on November 14 at the residence of Tohuvi Aye at Thilixu block 1V Dimapur with Er H. Kahuto Sumi police project Enginer, Chumukidema division as chief guest. Union also requested its members to attend the cultural training on October 31 at 6 am the residence of Er. Kahuto, Thilixu Dimapur. T. Khel Women organization silver jubilee KOHIMA: Chief minister Neiphiu Rio will grace the silver jubilee celebration of the T.Khel Women Organization cum T.Khel Day on October 25 at 12:30 pm at Mission Compound Kohima. Eastern Nagaland Students Union Kohima KOHIMA: Eastern Nagaland Students Union Kohima (ENSUK) has convened an meeting with all the federating units and subordinate units on November 24 at 12.00 noon at DUDA guest house. Aid for handicapped in Wokha DIMAPUR: District Welfare office has informed that the aids and appliances for handicapped persons assessed during the month of July will be distributed in the office of district welfare officer, Wokha on October 27 at 9.30 am. Asukhomi Union Dimapur DIMAPUR: An emergency meeting of Asukhomi Union Dimapur has been convened on October 25 at the residence of its banker at 2pm with regard to Youth Seminar to be held in January 2010. B. Ed final examination DIMAPUR: Nagaland University has notified that the B.Ed Final examination 2009 will commence from December 2 to16. This was stated in a press release issued by Dr. Kiyasetuo Director CDC& Controller of Examination.
