Tenyimi People’s Organization (TPO) on Sunday posthumously awarded commendation certificate to late Yeskha Kent for his outstanding services rendered to Tenyimi central union during the tenure 1995 to 1998 in the capacity of assistant general secretary.
TPO president Z.M Sekhose who was accompanied by two vice presidents Keku Zeliang and Benjamin Lorin and publicity and information secretary S. Daiho handed over the commendation certificate to wife of late Yeskha Kent in presence of children on the occasion of his 3rd death anniversary on Sunday morning.
Before handing over the certificate, TPO President Z.M Sekhose expressed regret that TPO could not attend the funeral service of late Yeskha due to communication problem. Sekhose who was then general secretary when late Yeskha was his assistant general secretary recalled that the latter was a God fearing man and a man of few words who lead the Tenyimi with dedication and sincerity. He also assured that Tenyimi People’s Organization and Tenyimi will not forget the selfless services he had rendered towards the welfare of Tenyimi.
Brief interaction and formal handing over of the commendation certificate began with invocation of God’s blessing by vice president Keku Zeliang.
