The All Nagaland Field Staff Association (ANFSA) PHED at a meeting held on October 14 has resolved that all vacancies of post arising out of Grade IV and III works should be given for regularization of work-charged employees and not through public advertisements of the post for selection test /recruitment process.
A note issued by ANFSA president Nikiye Yeptho stated that work charged employees attaining superannuation age should be regularized on the eve of superannuation so as entitle the worker of normal retirement pension benefits. Fixed pay of Rs 750 should immediately be given as the minimum wages as fixed under the government’s Minimum wages Act.
The note further stated that in order avoid concentration in particular divisions only transfer of posts to any particular division at the time of regular appointments irrespective of vacancy of post arising in different divisions should be given up and the authority should formulate an executive policy for absorption of work charged employees into regular service in order stop the stagnation.
