Reacting to the rejoinder by the Good News Mission to the NBCC and DCF, leaders of various church organizations at an emergency meeting Monday, denounced terms used against some of its leaders such as “liars”, “ignorant leader”, “misled”, “led by Satan” and “false servants of God”. According to a joint statement issued by the NBCC, Dimapur Christian Forum (DCF), Baptist Pastors Fellowship Dimapur (BPFD), Korea Alumni Fellowship Nagaland (KAFN) and Nagaland Theological Colleges Association (NTCA), the meeting held against the backdrop of the bible crusade by the GNM(Korea) presently being held at the Dimapur Stadium, cautioned that “whosoever brings this sort of unsound biblical teaching shall be held responsible for any consequence of doctrinal crisis in churches.” The signatories affirmed the joint statement issued on Saturday by the NBCC and DCF as published in local dailies on October 25. The statement asserted that “wrong biblical teaching” of Ock Soo Park was substantiated by Rev. Won Tae Cho of Korean Presbyterian Church of Council, the Synod of South Atlantic of PCUSA; David Hann from Korea (Vice President, BWA); Korea Alumni Fellowship Nagaland (KAFN); Rev. Barnabbas C. S. Moon (Withee Mission International); Rev. Dr. Paulah Kapfo (Mission International); Rev. Joel Kang (The Remnant Mission Academy, Nagaland) and findings from internet/websites. It was also resolved that henceforth, individuals and local churches intending to bring any outside speakers should ascertain the genuineness of the credentials and seek necessary permission from responsible missions/church/organization. As church leaders, the representatives claimed they were mandated and responsible to inform and advise their constituent associations, churches and members not to participate in such programmes. The statement was signed by Rev.Dr. Anjo Keikung, Gen.Secy. NBCC; Rev. L. Kari Longchar, NBCC; Rev. Loli Kape, Chairman, BPFD; Dr. Hukashe Zhimomi, NTCA; H. Asangla Phom, NDO/NBCC; Neiwete Chirhah, NMM/NBCC; Rev. Dr. Phuveyi Dozo, DCF; Rev. Dr. Vikheshe Chishi, KAFN; Rev. Andrew Semp, BFFD; Amos Humtsoe, NMM/NBCC; Th. Shyam, MI; Rev. Dr. Kenny Kapfo, MI and Rev.Dr. Paulah Kapfo, MI.
