Dengue fever in Dmu

One case of Dengue fever and three suspected cases have been reported from in and around Dimapur. Confirming this, the principal director, directorate of health & family welfare, Nagaland, Dr. V.Sekhose in a statement said the department has intensified its activities to control and contain the disease. The department is also carrying out intensive spraying of technical Malathion & Entomological studies at the affected colonies in Dimapur and monitoring suspected cases. The residents of the state especially those closely residing in and around Dimapur have been advised to take all precautionary measures and contact the nearest health centre for any high fever without delay.
