Governor to grace parents’ day
Kohima: The Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Kohima will hold its annual parents day on November 5 at 10.15 am with Nikhil Kumar, state governor and Nyeiwang Konyak, minister of school education and SCERT as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.

DIMAPUR: Meeting of Aphuyemi Sumi Kuqhakulu Kohima has been convened on November 7 at the residence of its treasurer, Vikheto Shohe, Officers Hill Kohima at 9.30 am regarding adoption of its constitution. Tokhu Emong festival
DIMAPUR: Lotha Hoho will celebrate its Tokhu Emong festival on November 7. In this connection, Hoho has requested all heads of schools and colleges in Dimapur to grant leave to Lotha students on the day of festival. Hoho has also requested SP Dimapur to exempt Lotha police personnel from duty on November 7.

DIMAPUR: Zhavame Students’ Union (ZSU) Golden Jubilee Committee has convened a meeting on November 8 at Zhavame village VDB hall at 6am. Organizing committee informed that meeting would deliberate on issues regarding preparation of jubilee celebration and status report of each committee. DIMAPUR: The ANSTA unit of Tuensang will hold its general session 2009 at Town Hall Longkhim on December 15 from 10 am with Minister for Soil & Water Conservation and Land Resources Development P Longon as chief guest. All the officers and teachers under Education department of Tuensang have been requested to attend the session. Forms for B Ed course
DIMAPUR: District Education Officer (DEO) Dimapur has informed all the in-service candidates for B Ed course that the forms for the session 2010 will be available during office hours. The last date for submission of forms will be on or before November 10.

Kohima: Nagamese Union Christian Revival Church, D Block Kohima will organize a three day Good news and healing service from November 6 to 9 at Congress Bhavan hall. The speaker will be Evan. DC, ARO, Mon informs
DIMAPUR: Deputy commissioner and assistant returning officer (ARO), Mon Dinesh Kumar, IAS has informed all vehicle owners who have not collected hired charges used during the last election duty to claim their bills (hired charges) within 7 days from the date of issue of this notice. According to an official bulletin, the office has been entertaining payment of bills for the last 6 months and will be stopped after 7 days to submit the DCC bill to government and no claims will be entertained after the expiry date.
Vigilance week observed in Mon
DIMAPUR: Vigilance week in Mon was observed at DC’s conference hall, Mon on November 3. Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Dinesh Kumar IAS administered an oath to officers and staff of Mon. DC exhorted the officers and staff to maintain integrity, accountability and transparency in the working system of Government department and to check all corruption at all levels. He also stressed on importance of learning basic knowledge of computers, file keeping, noting & drafting for accountability and transparency.
