Axis Bank opens branch in Mkg

Axis Bank finally made its foray into Mokokchung with its branch which was inaugurated on Tuesday. With the opening of this branch, denizens of Mokokchung would be provided with various opportunities of banking services hitherto unknown previously. With a plethora of services available to its clients, the bank promised to provide full range of banking starting with personal savings account to internet banking to mobile banking and so on and so forth. The inauguration honors was taken by DC Mokokchung C.M Tsanglao. Speaking at the inauguration, president and zonal head – East, Axis Bank S.K Mitra said new branch marked yet another step towards extensive consumer banking focus provided across the country and reinforced its commitment to bring superior banking services, marked by convenience and closeness to customers. The president and zonal head also added that quality of service provided was their strength and promised the bank would see the best of services from other banks. Axis Bank has a network of 925 branches, 8 extension counters and 3931 ATMs across the country. The branches spread across more than 577 cities and towns, enabling the Bank to reach out to a large cross-section of customers with an array of products and services catering to both the retail and corporate segment. Having its presence outside the country, Axis Bank has the second largest EDC network, the third largest ATM network in India and has the fourth largest database of debit cards in the country. And with such a Bank opening at Mokokchung, the citizens are looking forward to enter another era of banking world.
