NCSU Dimapur meet KOHIMA: Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) head office Kohima Nagaland has called an emergency general meeting on October 11, 11 am at NCSU conference hall relating to non-payment of pending bills. All the NCSU registered members along with president and general secretary of the district unit (NCSU) have been asked to attend the meeting. GBs union Dimapur resolves DIMAPUR: GBs Union Dimapur executive board in a meeting on October 9 had resolved not to involve the colonies council chairman/secretary association henceforth since they are separate bodies. DSSKK meet DIMAPUR: Dimapur Sardar Sumi Kukami Kuxakulu (DSSKK) has convened an emergency meeting on October 15, 10 am at the residence of its banker Viyito GB Notun Basti. All members have been requested to attend the meeting. Capacity building programme in Peren DIMAPUR: District Veterinary Officer has informed all those selected under the livestock development programme 2008-2009 that there will be capacity building programme on October 16 at 10 am in the town Council hall, Peren. All selected beneficiaries have been requested to attend the training programme. PMEGP selection interview for Mkg DIMAPUR: General manager, district industries centre, R. Phyobemo Lotha has informed that interview for selection of beneficiaries under PMEGP for Mokokchung district will be conducted on October 20, 10 am in the conference hall of DC Office, Mokokchung. All applicants have been requested to attend the interview with the original documents. Excise department seizes IMFL DIMAPUR: District Excise Enforcement staff during a mobile frisking on NH 39 near Chumukedima area on October 6 and 9 seized 192 bottles of IMFL and beer and arrested five persons in the process under relevant sections of Total Prohibition Act 1989. DC Wokha informs DIMAPUR: There will be a meeting Steering Committee Members and Sub-Committee Members for the Road show cum-Tokhu Emong on October 14 from 10 am at DC Conference hall. All the members must attend positively without fail. Shoxuvi Village Council notifies DIMAPUR: Shoxuvi Village Council has strictly prohibited any kind of hunting from 6 pm till 6 am after observing the prevailing situation in and around its jurisdiction. The council further warned that if anyone found violating the order then their hunting equipments will be seized along with a fine of Rs 5000. NPF 40 A/C Bhandari meet DIMAPUR: NPF 40th Bhandari A/C will hold its office inauguration-cum-executive party meeting on October 16 from 10 am at Bhandari town. Therefore all the executive members, central office bearers from 40 A/C, members to divisional unit and party elders have been requested to attend the meeting. NCSU Kohima meet DIMAPUR: Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) Dimapur has called an emergency meeting at its union’s office (PWD Complex) on October 13 at 10 am. All executive members, advisors and Action Committee members have been informed to attend the meeting. KWC celebrates musical night DIMAPUR: Kids Worship Centre celebrated its musical night with various young and renowned artists enthralling the gathering on October 11. Moa with his band “Regeneration Brothers”, Moalemla, Alo Wanth and Sinai Ministry team were the special guest artist. The young members of KWC also performed guitar and piano instrumentals. Parliamentary Secretary Y Patton condoles DIMAPUR: Parliamentary Secretary Irrigation & Flood Control Y Patton condoled the demise of Er Zheiho, SDO I & FC, Zunheboto. A press release issued stated that the Late Er Zhehio was a model government servant who discharged his duties with integrity and without fear and favoritism. The Parliamentary Secretary also conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families. PSUK executive meet DIMAPUR: Pochury Students’ Union Kohima (PSUK) has convened its first executive meeting on October 18, 1 pm at the residence of its vice president. Members have been requested to attend the meeting and to contact on phone number 9612457190 for information. CGOF session DIMAPUR: Chief minister Neiphiu Rio and M.V. Chakhesang ADG would grace the 16th general session of the Chakhesang Gazetted Officers Forum (CGOF) on October 17 at the Zonal Council Hall, Kohima as chief guest and guest of honour respectively. IRCS lottery draw postponed DIMAPUR: The declaration of IRCS lottery draw result scheduled on October 15 has been postponed to November 10. KCCI informs businesses establishment DIMAPUR: In view of the proposed Kohima Mass social work by the government of Nagaland to be held on the October 16, Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) have requested all the shop owners and all commercial building owners to down their shutters till 10.30 am and clean, white wash, paint and to install one bulb each outside the shops. KCCI also requested the shopkeepers to open the shops till late in the evening as shoppers find difficult to go shopping during day time due to heavy traffic congestion. All the area representatives and community leaders have been requested to supervise the same. Trg on SSA, mid-day meal in Changtongya DIMAPUR: Sensitisation programme on SSA, mid-day meal and communitisation under DIS Changtongya was held on October 9 and10 at town hall Changtongya, organised by school education department Nagaland. The resource persons for the training were deputy director and nodal officer communitisation Mokokchung district, Putoli Jamir, training officer Chuba and research associate from directorate of school education Tali. Altogether 90 persons attended the training programme. YBWC exposure trip to Bangalore DIMAPUR : The staff of Yimchungurü Baptist Women Convention along with 10 women pastors visited Bangalore and Mysore for a study and exposure tour from September 27 to October 10. They visited fascinating places and churches. A press note issued by YBWC women secretary Tsuyimla Ramji stated that they were warmly welcomed everywhere and met new people , race and colours which broadened their horizons.
