Kiulongba laid to rest

Former MLA and Nagaland interim body member B Kiulongba Yimchunger, who died October 12 after a prolonged illness, was laid to rest at Tuensang Tuesday. Scores of mourners from all walks of paid homage to their departed leader at the funeral service held at Tuensang town hall. In a eulogy at his funeral service, deputy commissioner Tuensang YL Jami, said that late Kiulongba Yimchunger always stood for peace and unity of the people. He also said that people of Tuensang, Mon, Longleng and Kiphire would always remember his good deeds. Condolence messages from MLA P Chuba Chang and district administration officers and staffs were also read out by deputy commissioner. Eastern Naga People Organization, Chang Khulie Sethsang, Yimchunger Tribal Council, Union president, Old medical A’, Chessore Union Tuensang Town, Chessore village Baptist church, president YUTT and Women department YBC also said series of short eulogy that made reference to departed leader. Mesola Kiulongba, wife of late Kiulongba, also delivered an eulogy at the funeral. The funeral service was led by YBCTT pastor Rev. P Akhum. Correspondent
