Reiterating that Nagas were not far from reaching the destination in its “Journey of Common Hope,” the FNR has said that the foundation for all expectations demanded faith in God and action on the part of the people. FNR Convenor, Rev. Dr. Wati Aier in a statement said the Forum since its inception, has been clear that reconciliation was no one’s monopoly and that everyone has a stake in this noble cause. The FNR said it launched the reconciliation process being fully aware that it was by no means an easy road. Stating that Nagas have traveled a long distance along the path of reconciliation, FNR recounted the signing of the declarations wherein the leaders said, “we have signed the Covenant after much thought and there is no turning back. We mean to keep our commitment.”
