Governor, CM, NPCC greet

Nagaland governor Nikhil Kumar, chief minister Neiphiu Rio and NPCC have extended greetings to the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Diwali. In a message, the governor expressed hope that this ‘very light’ (Diwali-festival of lights) help in dispelling the darkness of evil and ignorance from everywhere. The chief minister, in his message on the eve of the festival, wished that “this Deepawali, the festival of lights symbolizing the victory of righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness, bring peace and prosperity and complete harmony among all.” Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) president KV Pusa, in another message, prayed Almighty to shower happiness and prosperity abundantly upon “His people.” It also prayed that “this festival bring light to our communal harmony, brotherhood of man and drive away darkness of religious intolerance and hatred.”
