The two-day training programme was organised by deputy inspectors of Schools Kiphire, on topic sensitisation on communitisation, for Village Education committee (VEC) Women Education committee (WEC) and TEC began on October 14 and 15 at Hopongkyu Memoral hall.
The training on sensitisation was graced by H. Singson SDO (civil) Kiphire as the chief guest, in his address to the participants he highlighted on the topic of Communitisation and said by communitisation the legal power was vested on the community itself to build better future of their children, the policy of the government on communitisation on government school was to uplift downtrodden people. Earlier, inaugural function was chaired by Shahoto Deputy Inspector of schools and the key note address was delivered by Senthang Rengma nodal officer. Resource persons for the two day training were Kirithong ADC DMA and project Assistant of DMA Kiphire and SIS under DIS Kiphire.
Topics of the training include role of VEC/TEC in the implementation of SSA program and maintenance of transparency and judicious utilization of SSA grants and role of supervision officers in the managements of MDM schemes. And roles of VEC/TEC in the implementation of no work no pay.
