Large scale development under DAN: Kejong

There had been a large scale developmental activities in the rural areas, since DAN Government came to power in the state, said T.Kejong Chang, MLA and Advisor VG organization, DB’s and GB’s Nagaland, while inaugurating the community hall at Chingmelen village constructed under BRGF during 2007-08 on Friday. Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, T. Kejong Chang stated that DAN government stood for the downtrodden people of the state and asked the people to cooperate with the government for the benefit of the society. Kejong expressed that his love and compassion to the people of 54 AC Tuensang Sadar II in particular and general public of Tuensang District would “shine forever”. He said that his resignation from congress to join NPF was for the larger interest of the people and to bring developmental activity in the state under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, Chief minister Nagaland. The chief guest also said that, DAN Government stood for “people development” and asked the people to follow the foot print of “quality leadership” in future so as to bring a positive development in the rural areas. Kejong also urged the village council and public to unite together and work with dedication for the uplift of the people and asked the people to create a congenial and peaceful atmosphere for the betterment of the society. Speaking as guest of honor, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Y.L. Jami urged the people to cooperate with the government and district administration for more development aspects in the areas. He said without understanding there can be no solution amongst the people and urged for peace and understanding for the common good of the people. Y.L. Jami also inaugurated the approach road construction from junction to Chingmelen village constructed under NREGA during 2007- 2008-2009 on Friday. DPO, DRDA Tuensang, BDO Sangsangyu RD Block, Seyang PA to DC and president DB’s Association Nagaland also spoke on the occasion. The inaugural session started with an invocation prayer by S. Nochi, pastor CBC, the programme was led by the president CSU, S. Benso Cholen, while welcome address was delivered by L.Muri HD GB and vote of thanks was proposed by Y.Wongto Chang Public leader.
