An attempt to burgle the NSF office was foiled due to timely arrival of the police on the spot during the wee hours on Sunday. Two miscreants reportedly broke into the NSF office and tried to steal a computer set but were forced to leave the booty and flee when the police arrived at the scene. The police team found the computer set packed in a sack, abandoned by the miscreants in front of the NSF office. The incident took place at around 1 a.m . It was learnt that the miscreants entered the NSF office by breaking open the main door, but the neighbour who heard the loud sound alerted the North Police station. Police immediately rushed to the spot and prevented the burglary. NSF president Mutsikhoyo Yhobu said he was informed about the burglary attempt at around 2 am by the police. He said nothing was missing from the office.
