District Planning Board & Development meeting for the month of November was held on November 18 at DC’s conference hall Zunheboto with Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe, ADC as the chairman.
Viheshe Yepthomi, chief medical officer, Zunheboto apprised the board that Sub-Centre at Ghathashi was upgraded recently to that of Primary Health Centre and as there was a need for construction of its building the board recommended the matter for action. The board deliberated on the construction of Dobashi Court at Naltoqa which could not be taken up as the land owner was not in a position to grant land.
Setting up of a Health Care Centre at Zunheboto College was proposed by Chubatula Aier, Principal, Zunheboto College. Board deliberated and entrusted CMO Zunheboto to furnish necessary justification and whether it had fulfilled necessary criteria for further action. LADP 2009-10 verification committee was constituted with administrative officers as convenor for each constituency. Up gradation of Coco Mount School Akuhaito to that of class VIII was recommended for government approval.
Earlier, grant-in-aid to Step by Step School Zunheboto, New Era School Zunheboto, Disney Home Academy Zunheboto, Olympic Higher Secondary School Zunheboto and Sparkel School Naltoqa were recommended.
