NPF Youth Wing leadership training held

Nagaland Peoples’ Front (NPF) youth wing leadership training was held on November 17 to 18 at NPF central office, Kohima attended by all the 60 A/Cs youth wing leaders. According to a press note issued by Achamo Kikon, press secretary NPF Youth wing, the wing has reaffirmed to extend support to the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, chief minister and Dr. Shurhozelie, party president and also expressed gratitude to Kuzholuzo Nienu, minister for Medical and also incharge of youth wing Nagaland. The wing also extended appreciation to the present NPF led DAN government for over all development activities in the state and also for declaring years for special programmes such as years of farmers, year of youth and women empowerment, year of capacity building and road show. To endorse the policy of DAN government in playing the felicitator role in resolving the long pending Indo-Naga political issue and that the youth leaders to be taken into confidence in the process of selection in government programmes including CM Corpus fund, PMEGP or any other programmes involving development of youth. Further the youth wing has resolved to discourage money politics during election as it is drenching the economy of the people and inviting circles and corruption within the society. Meanwhile, NPF Youth wing has resolved to endorse the enactment of the government employees’ retirement act as it is in the interest of the younger generation and would benefit the youths.
