NPF Youth Wing during its two days leadership training on the theme ‘Equip quality leadership’ which was held at the party central office on November 18 resolved to discourage money politics during elections as it drenched the economy of the people and invited corruption within the society.
In its seven point resolutions, NPF youth wing also endorsed the enactment of government employee retirement Act which it stated was in the interest of the younger generation and would benefit the youth.
Achamo Kikon, press secretary to the NPF Youth wing said it endorsed the policy of DAN government in playing the role of facilitator in resolving the long pending Indo-Naga political issue. Further, it reaffirmed to extend unflinching support to leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio and party president Dr. Shurhozelie and also expressed its profound gratitude to minister Health & Family Welfare Kuzholuzo Nienu who is also the incharge of the party youth wing.
The youth wing also resolved that youth wing leaders be taken into confidence in the processes of selection in government programmes including CM corpus funds, PMEGP or any other programs involving development of youth. While stating that participants took times to reflect on the guidance of good leadership, it also concluded that it was essential as a political party and as society to choose and preserve leader that possessed ability to endure, sacrifice and be honest to the people, be truthful, hold integrity, visionary and ability to inspire.
