The office of Razeba Sub Marketing Committee (RSMC) constructed by agriculture department was inaugurated on November 16 by Deo Nukhu, MLA and advisor, new and renewable energy, art and culture, science and technology.
RSMC chairman, Sanyi Dukru expressed hope of declaring Razeba range as ‘Plum village’ after few years stating that RSMC had discussed during its meeting and targeted every family in the area to plant 50 plum saplings. The committee had earlier already planted hundreds of plum saplings along the highway in the area.
He also expressed gratitude to department of agriculture and horticulture for recognizing two villages from Razeba range, Zhavame and Tsüfüme as vegetable villages in the recent past. He stated that this has brought in a lot of development in the area and further disclosed that there were 1200 trucks of cabbage harvest this year alone while a family benefited the highest record of Rs.1.30 lakh from cabbage in the current year.
