NF&ASA meeting DIMAPUR: Nagaland Finance & Accounts Service Association (NF&ASA) has convened a general meeting on November 11 at Japfu Ashok. All members have been requested to attend the meeting. PGSU annual freshers’ day DIMAPUR: Post Graduate Students’ Union (NUCK) will hold its 17th Annual Freshers’ Day on November 24, 10 a.m at Kohima Village Community Hall with Kohima Municipal Council chairperson, Vipopal Kintso as chief guest and NU dean of Student Welfare as guest of honor. DSO informs DIMAPUR: All societies, associations, clubs, unions, SHGs and institutions in Dimapur District registered under Registration of Societies Act, Government of Nagaland have been requested to report to District Statistical Officer, Super Market Dimapur from November 25 to December 4 for compilation work during office hours. ENPU Wokha meeting DIMAPUR: Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Union (ENPU) will hold its annual meeting on November 28 at 10 am at the residence of its treasurer Sedem Khiamnuingan near SP office Wokha. Membership and leadership fees will be collected on the same day. The president, executive chairman ENUP Bhandari and all members have been requested to attend the meeting TKK general conference DIMAPUR: Tenyidie Keprünuoko Krotho (TKK) has convened its 2nd General conference on November 24, 11 am at Ura Academy with Dr Shühozelie, minister of urban development & higher education as chief guest. All teachers, senior members, student members have been requested to attend the programme. SAGSA meeting DIMAPUR: Sumi Aphuyemi Games and Sports Association (SAGSA) has convened its general meeting on November 28, 11a.m at hotel Japfu. All office bearers, village executives, supporting committees, advisory and finance board members and drafting committees have been requested to attend the meeting. 35 ACCC Zunheboto meet DIMAPUR: 35 ACCC Zunheboto has convened and emergency meeting for all office bearers on November 23 at the residence of its president. All have been requested to attend the meeting. DSBC coffee house DIMAPUR: Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church (DSBC) youth department would be organizing Coffee house on November 22 at the church premises. The funtime carnival would start from 1.30 pm and acoustica would start from 3.30pm. The guest bands performing would include Sunep ensemble band, Tali Angh, Dementia and many others. All have been requested to attend the event. DIC Dimapur informs DIMAPUR: The functional manager, District Industries Centre Dimapur, T. Lipokwati Ao has informed that capital subsidy under DIC Dimapur which have been selected on August 29, 2008 has been returned from directorate of industries and commerce. All selected entrepreneurs/units have been requested to report DIC Dimapur on or before November 23 for rectification of file. Mr Nagaland photo shoot DIMAPUR: Contestants of Mr Nagaland will have a photo shoot on November 22 in Dimapur with Mayank Tripathi – a renowned photographer and a cinematographer from Mumbai. The photo shoot has been organized for all contestants for Mr Nagaland -2009 and will give a professional experience into the fashion world. CSUDD general conference DIMAPUR: Chakhesang Students’ Union Dimapur District (CSUDD) will hold its 31st general conference on November 28 at Dimapur town hall under the theme ‘Quality Education” with Azheto Zhimomi MLA and advisor sericulture and cooperation as chief guest. Entrepreneurs Associates co-ordinator Neichute Duolo would be the resource person and will speak on ‘career guidance.’ All Units, village chairman, Chakhesang Hoho, elders, former executives, Chakhesang Youth front Dimapur district have been requested to attend the conference. ZSU resolves to ban felling of trees DIMAPUR: Zeliangrong Students’ Union (ZSU), Senapati Zone Manipur has resolved to ban the felling of trees and transporting for commercial purposes in any form within the jurisdiction of the union with effect from November 25 and informed that defaulters would be penalized.
