One way traffic in Kma village

When you ride in the biggest village in Asia –Kohima Village, you need to abide by strict traffic rules. On Monday, Kohima Village Youth Organization (KVYO) officials declared the Kohima Village road as a one way traffic zone for vehicles. All entry of vehicles henceforth will be one-way with entry into the village from Left side of Mission Compound and the exit from Right of Mission compound near T. Khel gate. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter Kohima village from Kohima Village gate located, near North Police Station, Kohima and entry of all heavy vehicles are requested and advised to take other entry points such as Kenuozou, Lower L. Khel, DBS and Seikhazou etc. For easy communication for the inhabitants and visitors visiting the Kohima Village, the KVYO on Monday started putting up traffic road signs in all strategic locations in the village. Meanwhile from Monday, KVYO volunteers numbering to around 30 have been assisting and helping the district administration and Kohima traffic police for the smooth flow of vehicular traffic in the capital town as part of the ongoing observation of traffic week aimed at creating traffic awareness among the denizen.
