Expressing concern over the academic session of the students being hampered due to the ongoing NU imbroglio between the university authorities and the NUTA and NUNTSA, the All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has appealed both the parties to cooperate with one another and solve the issue at the earliest. ANCSU in a statement issued by its general secretary, Bendang Nukshi said the union would “not tolerate at any cause” but take its own course of action if any student was affected owing to the current scenario, in spite of repeated reminders. The students also expressed disappointment that the VC and registrar were “out of picture” from the present imbroglio instead of solving it amicably. Further, the ANCSU urged the various administration heads and staff to make prepatory work for shifting the NU Kohima campus to Lumami Headquarter as directed by the ministry of human resources and development, government of India.
