NSACS ‘write a song contest’ released in CDs

Nagaland State AIDs Control Society (NSACS) ‘write a song contest’ CD was officially released on Thursday at Dream Café, Kohima by Abu Metha, press secretary to state chief minister. In his address he congratulated NSCAS for conducting the write a song contest and expressed happiness over the large number of participation especially from the youths. Abu Metha also gave away the prizes to the winners and consolation prize winners. A short speech was given by Abino Khate, deputy director IEC, NSACS and function chaired by Theja Meru , president Rattle and Hum Music Society. Soni, Team Leader of Vodafone also attended the function. The first prize winner Sunep Lemtor received a cash of Rs.15, 000 and a Vodafone handset, second prize winner Toshimeren & Loving Souls - Rs.10, 000 and a Vodafone hand set and the third place winner – Newka Shohe -Rs.5,000 and a Vodafone handset and seven consolation winners – OFF, Moba Inggang, Chuba & Ayin, Sharyn , Amalgamate, Relic Punditz and Dahil Pfithu received Rs. 1000 each and a Vodafone handset each. The 1st winning song also had two guest artists Toshinaro and Keneilezono Chale The ‘Write a song’ was produced by NSACS and managed by Rattle and Hum Music Society, songs were recorded at Clef Ensemble, Kohima and the partners were Vodafone, Dream Cafe and The Heritage. Meanwhile the CDs price at Rs.150 will be on sold at outlets of Dream Café, Kohima and Audio Garage, Dimapur. The sales proceed of CDs will go for the benefit of NNP+.
