TPO to research history, migration routes of Tenyimi forefather

Tenyimi Peoples’ Organization (TPO) central officials led by its president Z.M Sekhose along with its four members Research Committee led by convenor Zacieve Thele, Member Secretary Dr. D. Kuole, Dr. David Tetso and Dr. Henino Kath toured four historical villages in Kheza area on November 26 as part of its ongoing research to trace out the history and migration routes of Tenyimi forefather. During the tour, the TPO official team visited Khezakenoma, Leshimi, Kami and Likromi villages and interacted with the village elders and also visited various important historical monuments, places and artifacts such as the magical iron bowls at Kami and Likromi for documentation. All throughout the tour, TPO president Z.M Sekhose, Convenor and Member Secretary TPO Research Committee Zachieve Thele and Dr. D.Kuole enlightened the villagers on the purpose of the visits and the importance of finding out and documenting the correct history of the Tenyimi and also the Nagas as a whole. Further, they stressed on the need for unity among the Tenyimi fraternal brothers and also the importance of preserving the rich tradition and culture including the various rituals and also learning and developing Tenyidie, the common language of the ten Tenyimi units (tribes). Earlier, TPO team also stopped over at the mythical Charm stone located at Tobufu while en route to Khezakenoma. The TPO Research Committee members comprised of eminent scholars and experts from different fields and consists Zacieve Thele (expert Genealogist) as Convenor, Dr.D.Kuole (Linguistic) member secretary, Dr. David Testso (Archeologist), Dr. Henino Kath (Historian), Dr. Kechukietuo (Anthropologist), President of all the ten TPO constituent units and few eminent scholars as members.
