State NCP urges Chief Minister

Nagaland unit of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has urged the chief minister to give priority in “development arena” including road connectivity, medical, colleges under Tuensang, Mon, Kiphire and Longlen districts from the central sanctioned fund of Rs. 500 crore against border areas. State NCP treasurer N Hotongse Sangtam, in a letter addressed to Nagaland chief minister has appealed the latter to direct the state department to immediately prepare the DPR and submit to central government at the earliest. Also, suggesting that state needed “security guards” especially in the border areas, the party urged chief minister to forward before the central government for upgrading one “security guard battalion.”
