Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) term end examination for December will be conducted from December 1to 30.
The University has established 739 examination centres which include 51 overseas centres, 17 centres in Jail for jail inmates and 46 centres at PIs for convergence students. Examination Intimation Slips (Hall Tickets) have been issued to 3,07,877 eligible students who had applied for appearing in the term end examination. The detailed hall ticket status is also available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in.
IGNOU Regional Centre-20, Regional Director, T. Iralu in a press note informed that in Nagaland, about 1200 candidates will be appearing the term end examination at 8 exam centres. The students are to download hall tickets from the university website and appear in the examination. The examination centres have been instructed to allow students to appear in examination, even if they do not possess the examination intimation slips (Hall Tickets). But their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre. The regional director also informed that separate hall tickets shall be issued to students of BCA & MCA for term end practicals. Students are advised to contact the respective Regional Centres in the last week of December for their practical examinations.
Further, the Regional director informed that last the last date for submission of application forms for various masters and bachelors degree and diploma and certificate programmes at IGNOU has been extended up to December 15 with a late fee of Rs.200. Regional director informed that the student handbook and prospectus could be obtained from Study Centres or from IGNOU Regional Centre, Kohima in person on payment of Rs.100 in cash. Interested candidates have been directed to send application forms to IGNOU Regional Centre, Kohima on or before December 15.
