Entrepreneurship development trg DIMAPUR: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Phek and Dimapur would be jointly organizing a training programme on entrepreneurship development from December 1 to 12 at conference hall of NRC on Mithun, Jharnapani. R.K. Singh, programme coordinator KVK Phek has informed that the inaugural session would be at 10am and ADC Medziphema would be the chief guest and Dr. B.P. Bhatt, joint director ICAR Jharnapani as guest of honour. Further the resource person would be from various departments of Dimapur, Indian Agriculture Research Institute, New Delhi and Krishi Vigyan Kendra. BSNL road show in Dimapur DIMAPUR: BSNL franchisee M/S Modern Communication Centre, Dimapur would be organizing road shows at various places in Dimapur from December 3 to 19. According to a press note, the events would showcase BSNL products like landline, WLL, CDMA, EVDO, 3G Data card, pre-paid, post-paid and broadband. Further requested those willing to avail the facilities should bring along with them a latest passport size color photo; for photo identity, a pan card or driving license or bank account pass book issued by central/state government authorized organization/departments; for address proof, electricity bill or telephone bill or ration card and for address and photo identity proof issued by head GB or chairman of village council. Assault case solved TUENSANG: The incident of November 3 at Chendang Saddle, where Mr. Sema, a driver of NH - 155 was brutally beaten up along with his colleagues allegedly by Thongsa of FGN and Yentin of NSCN (IM) was amicably solved in the spirit of ‘forget and forgiveness’ in the presence of the Chang Khulie Setshang (CKS) and Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC), after the accused had tendered an apology. The duo has also assured to cooperate in all the developmental activities carried in the area without any disturbance. According to sources, the accused also handed over an amount of Rs. 5000 which was taken away earlier. Public nabs extortionist in Kma Kohima: An extortionist was caught red handed while imposing himself as a cadre of an underground faction and serving demand note at a shop near SBI Lirie branch on Sunday evening.According to source, the accused identified as Rovotso Vasa of Rengouzu village, under Chazouba Police Station was caught by the public and later handed over to the South Police Station later at around 4 pm. The accused along with another accomplice is learnt to have served the demand note of Rs.1500 in the name of FGN, however the accomplice managed to escaped. (Correspondent)
