DPS redressal of public grievances DIMAPUR: Director of Postal Services (DPS) has informed that Dak Adalat for redressal of public grievances on postal matters would be held on November 7 at 10 am at the chamber of DPS, Kohima. DPS K. Kevichusa informed that all complaints, grievances and suggestions if any related to postal services for discussion on Dak Adalat should be sent to DPS, Nagaland. NPSC informs DIMAPUR: Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has informed candidates within ticket no. Block of 00801 to 001600 of Kohima centre in respect of special recruitment drive for auditors or accountants would be held on November 15 at Alder College, Wokha road Kohima and not at Aidger College as mentioned in the admission certificates. This has been informed in a press release issued by Dellirose M. Sakhrie, secretary NPSC. Sangphure village gets new NST service DIMAPUR: Newly NST Bus service at Sangphure village which to be plied to Tuensang via Yahkor village was inaugurated by parliamentary secretary for IPR, Econ and statistic Nagaland R. Tohanba. Chief Guest also urged the villagers to cooperate with the department for successful and lasting service rendered by the department. On behalf of the department the AGM Dimapur requested the area people to tie up with the department and help one another for developmental activities. Kuki icon 2009-10 DIMAPUR: Kuki icon 2009-10 (guitar round) which started on October 4 at Paipijang village was graced by Khekaho Assumi, DMC chairperson as chief guest and other DMC members. According to Leingnehoi Changsan, information and publicity secretary organizing committee of Kuki icon 2009-10, out of 49 participants 25 were selected. Further the organizing committee has expressed gratitude to the chief guest, participants and Global Chapter for telecasting the show. Meanwhile, the organizing committee has informed that the track round competition would be held on November 21 and the venue would be informed later on. TASU appeals government employees DIMAPUR: Tobu Area Students Union has appealed to all the government employees posted under Tobu-Subdivision to be present at the station and execute their duties sincerely. The union also further warned of stern action against those staff who does not comply with the union’s request.
