EMR meet deferred DIMAPUR: Ezon Montsui Rui (EMR) general meeting has been postponed to December 11 due to some unavoidable circumstances. Akhyow Kithan, general secretary EMR has requested all responsible clans to take note of it. ABAM musical show DIMAPUR: ABAM International Ministries (AIM) concert for mission will be organising ‘free musical show’ on November 8 at 4 pm at Dimapur Ao Baptist Church, Duncan, Dimapur. IRCSN annual meeting DIMAPUR: Governor and President IRCSN Nikhil Kumar and Chief Minister of Nagaland and Vice President IRCSN Neiphiu Rio will deliver presidential and vice presidential address respectively at the ceremonial function of annual general meeting of IRCSN on November 11 at 11 am at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan Kohima. Sümi Aphuyemi Kuqhakulu Dimapur DIMAPUR: Sümi Aphuyemi Kuqhakulu Dimapur (SAKD) has convened a meeting on November 7, 11 am at the residence of its banker at Nepali Bosti, Dimapur. All executives, advisors and office bearers have been requested to attend the meeting. Western Sumi Students’ Union DIMAPUR: Western Sumi Students’ Union (WSSU) has convened an emergency meeting on November 7, 10 am at its union office, Thahekhu village. All executives have been requested to attend the meeting. Mao council meet DIMAPUR: Mao Council (Memai Hoho) has convened a consultative meeting of the Mao community on November 7, 9 am at community hall, Tadubi to discuss the prevailing situation faced by the society. All executive members of Mao council and its frontal organization, political and social leaders, officers, retired officers, public and church leaders, intellectuals, well-wishers and all village chairmen/secretaries have been requested to attend the meeting. FACAA ‘Alumni Night’ MOKOKCHUNG: Fazl Ali College Alumni Association (FACAA) has extended invitation to all past pupils of the college at ‘Alumni Night’ on November 11 at the auditorium of the college. The ‘Alumni Night’ is a celebratory entertainment program as part of the college’s Golden Jubilee celebration and is initiated by the Alumni Association. The program will be graced by DC Mokokchung as the guest of honor. Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union DIMAPUR: Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union (ENLU) has convened a meeting on November 8 at 2 pm at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur. R. Tohanba, parliamentary secretary for information and public relation and press secretary ENLU has requested all the members to attend the meeting. HCS class of ’92 meet DIMAPUR: Class of ‘92, Holy Cross School (HCS) has convened general meeting of all batch mates on November 8 at 2 pm at Sinai Café to discuss some matters on class reunion in the later part of December. Angami GBs association meet DIMAPUR: An official meeting of the Angami GBs association has been convened on November 11 and 12, at 10am, at APO hall. The meeting has been organized to further amend the customary laws and had requested Southern, Northern, Western and Chakra group to depute at least 5 representatives for the meeting. NACLF annual fellowship DIMAPUR: Annual meeting of Niuland area Church Leaders Fellowship will be held at Kiyezu (B) Baptist Akukuhou on November 14 and 15. All Church leaders under NACLF and village chiefs (GBs) under Niuland area have been requested to attend the prayer on November 15. NLBC platinum jubilee DIMAPUR: Nrüng Longidang Baptist Church, Wokha district would be celebrating its platinum jubilee on November 11 and 12 on the theme “Jesus, the liberator” St. John 8:36. All members of the church and villagers have been requested to attend the jubilee and appealed to all believers in Nagaland to pray for a successful jubilee. The church has also informed that bus services from Wokha to N. Longidang village would be available from November 9 to 12, 8:30 am and 2 pm. The pick up points would be forest colony, GHSS junction and traffic point, Wokha and to contact Chümdamo Ngullie, convenor transportation committee at 9856872636 for further details. Koio Baptist Church sales day DIMAPUR: Koio Baptist Church (KBC) will be organising ‘sales day’ on November 12 at Wokha Town public ground at 9 am in aid of its forthcoming platinum jubilee celebration. Anthony, Civil S.D.O Wokha, has consented to be the chief guest at the sales day programme. The committee has invited all well wisher and general public to participate in the event and encourage local craftsmen and poor rural farmers for the uplift of the church. PVSU golden jubilee meeting Koihma: Phiro Village Students’ Union (PVSU) has convened a meeting for its golden jubilee celebration on November 14 at 10:30 am at the residence of Rupomo Odyuo at Koihma. All the organizing committee members and committee members have been asked to attend the meeting. DLLVU meet DIMAPUR: Dimapur Lio Longidang Village Union (DLLVU) has convened a general meeting on November 28 at the time and venue as mentioned in the Prayer Fellowship Calendar. Mhathung Lotha, secretary DLLVU has requested all the members to attend the meeting and to submit agendas if any. 41 A/C Congress meet DIMAPUR: The 41 A/C Congress party meeting has been convened on November 14 for strengthening Tizit Congress party. All office bearers of ACC, AYC, AMCC, VCC and party executive members have been informed to attend the meeting. YCCC informs DIMAPUR: Yourubami Arms personnel serving in several regiment and battalion would be hosting ‘Christmas 2009’ to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. Meanwhile, the Yorubami Christmas Celebration Committee (YCCC) have appealed all responsible authority to grant leave to the hosting jawans in due time.
