Nurture feeling of ownership: G. Kaito

“Co-operation between the people and government is a must for development” said G. Kaito Aye Minister PWD (R&B) after the inauguration of Shoi-xe Kiyekhu-Tizu road on Monday. Kaito asserted that people should nurture the feeling of ownership of all government developments and added that it was the people’s duty to preserve and protect government property of whatsoever kind. Stating that road connectivity was vital for development of ecology and social life, he assured of enhancing more road connectivity in the state in accordance with the government policy during his tenure. Meanwhile he also impressed upon the villagers to judiciously implement the NREGA scheme and utilize the fund purposefully, said an official bulletin. Earlier, engineer T. Mero Additional CE Nagaland PWD (R&B) also said that the link road which connected Shoi-xe Kiyekhu to Satoi and Aghunato has enhanced the development of the area. The programme was chaired by engineer Vitokhu Sumi Additional CE Mokokchung and presentation time was taken by H. Kughaho Zhimo. There was a special cultural programme from Kiyekhu village and vote of thanks was proposed by Vikuto GB.
